Terms of Service

By accessing or using Zahara ("the Platform"), operated by Devrail from Nairobi, Kenya, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has consented to your use of the Platform.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information in your profile. Inaccurate data may lead to incorrect document generation or school matching.
• You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Zahara provides the following services:

• AI Document Generation: motivation letters, CVs, and cover letters generated using artificial intelligence. These documents are starting points and should be reviewed and personalised before submission.
• School Information: data about German educational institutions sourced from public databases. While we strive for accuracy, we recommend verifying details directly with institutions.
• Alumni Consulting: paid one-on-one sessions with independent consultants. Alumni consultants are independent advisors, not employees of Zahara.
• Readiness Assessment: an indicative score based on your profile. It is not a guarantee of admission or visa approval.
• Information Tools: cost-of-living data, career field guides, scholarship listings, and comparison tools provided for informational purposes.

• Payments are processed through IntaSend via M-Pesa. All prices are displayed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated.
• Document orders are fulfilled electronically. Once an AI-generated document has been delivered to your account, the order is considered complete.
• Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if the document has not been downloaded. Contact support@gozahara.co for refund requests.
• Alumni consulting session fees are set by the individual consultant. Cancellation policies are displayed at the time of booking.

• Documents generated by Zahara's AI are tools to assist your application. They are not legal documents and should not be treated as professional legal or immigration advice.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and submitting any documents generated through the Platform.
• Zahara does not guarantee that AI-generated documents will result in admission, scholarship awards, or visa approval.

Zahara provides information about German visa processes, requirements, and pathways for educational purposes only. This information does not constitute immigration advice. Visa regulations change frequently — always verify current requirements with the German Embassy in Nairobi or the relevant German authority.

Zahara is not a visa agency, immigration consultancy, or recruitment firm.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• All personal data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany).
• You can request data export or account deletion at any time.
• We do not sell your data or use your documents for AI training.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit false information in your profile or applications.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Scrape, crawl, or automated-harvest content from the Platform.
• Resell or redistribute AI-generated documents commercially.
• Use the Platform to facilitate fraud, identity theft, or document forgery.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zahara and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:

• Visa application outcomes
• University or Ausbildung admission decisions
• Accuracy of school data or scholarship information
• Advice provided by independent alumni consultants

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently erased after a 30-day grace period as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
